Registration for Spring 2025 is open!

2025 Spring Lacrosse Season

  • Spring Lacrosse League

    The Palisades Lacrosse Club will enter in to the Los Angeles Youth Lacrosse League

    March 3rd - May 18th

    Players will have up to five practices a week. We are providing these opportunities to maximize flexibility while offering the most opportunity for improvement. Games will be played across the array of familiar fields around the west side of Los Angeles.

  • Required Equipment

    All girls will be required to have lacrosse goggles, a stick, molded mouth guard and cleats

    The Club does its best to lend out gear to new players on a first come first serve basis.

  • USA Lacrosse Membership

    It is required for all athletes to be a member of USLacrosse. The membership lasts a year and can be used for all Palisades Lacrosse Seasons, Tournament, Clinics and Private Lessons. USLacrosse Membership IDs will be required for registration.

  • League Format--Full Field Lacrosse

    As many of you know, lacrosse continues to evolve, and we are always seeking innovative ways to keep the game exciting and engaging for our players. This Spring we will be playing traditional full field lacrosse.

    What to Expect in the Spring Full Field Lacrosse Season:

    Expanded Strategic Play: Full field lacrosse offers a broader playing area, emphasizing a more tactical approach. With more players on the field, the game will reward both individual skill and coordinated team strategy.

    Comprehensive Skill Development: This format challenges players to refine their individual talents while also enhancing team dynamics, contributing to well-rounded growth on both offense and defense.

    Balanced Participation: Larger teams and the extended field provide ample opportunities for every player to make an impact, ensuring an engaging experience for all skill levels.

    Enhanced Competitive Challenges: The full field format introduces fresh strategic dimensions and challenges that will push our players to innovate, adapt, and elevate their gameplay.

    We are excited about this and believe it will offer a fun, competitive, and enriching experience for everyone, especially aiding the development of our young players.

2025 Winter Lacrosse Season

  • Winter Lacrosse League

    The Palisades Lacrosse Club will enter in to the Los Angeles Winter Lacrosse League

    January 6th - February 22nd

    Teams will have one to two practices a week depending on age and will play games across the array of familiar fields around the west side of Los Angeles, including, El Segundo or Culver City High School. The Championship will be in Glendale.

    All girls will be required to have lacrosse goggles, a stick, molded mouth guard and cleats

    As many of you are aware, lacrosse has evolved in exciting ways, and we are constantly looking for innovative ways to keep the game fresh and enjoyable for our players. With the recent success and increasing popularity of lacrosse in the 2028 Olympics, we are excited to mirror the Olympic format by introducing the 6s version to our Winter season.

    What to expect in the Winter 6s Lacrosse Season:

    Fast-Paced Action: The 6s format will bring a fast and intense style of play. With fewer players on the field, expect a quicker pace and plenty of opportunities for dynamic plays.

    Enhanced Skill Development: This format encourages individual and team skills, which will undoubtedly benefit our players' growth and development.

    Increased Playing Time: Smaller teams mean more action for everyone, making it an excellent opportunity for all skill levels.

    Exciting Challenges: The 6s format will introduce new challenges and strategies that will add a fresh and exciting dimension to our beloved sport.

    We are excited about this change and believe it will be a fun, thrilling experience. It will also be an excellent format for the development for our young players.

2024 Fall Lacrosse Season

  • Fall Box Lacrosse League

    The Palisades Lacrosse Club will enter into the LA Fall Lacrosse League on Saturdays. We plan to have our teams broken down like this:

    Kinder/2nd grade team

    3rd/5th grade team

    6th-8th grade team (MS)

    Dates: Sept 3rd - Oct 26th

    Teams will have one to two practices a week depending on age and will play games at El Seguado Roller Rink.

    It is required that all Players have a USA lacrosse membership and it is up-to-date.

  • Required Equipment

    All girls will be required to have lacrosse goggles or helmet, a stick, molded mouth guard, cleats and a water bottle. Tennis shoes wil be worn during games.

    The Club does its best to lend out gear to new players on a first come first serve basis.

2024 Summer Lacrosse Season

    We will be focusing on a major aspect of the game each day and provide a more indepth look at each skill to further the development of our players. Below is the schedule and the focused skill. Clinics will be open to grades Kinder - 8th Grade

    Teams will have one to two practices a week depending on age and will play games across the array of familiar fields around the west side of Los Angeles, including El Segundo Park, Mar Vista, Santa Monica HS, Airport Park, Palos Verdes HS, Peninsula HS, Glendale Sports Complex, Redondo Union HS , and Manhattan Village Turf Field.

    PELA will require all players to sign up through their platform to ensure your USA lacrosse membership is up-to-date and so PELA can send emails to you about lacrosse opportunities they support. More Information will be sent to those who sign up.

    The Palisades Lacrosse Club will enter in to the West Los Angeles Lacrosse (WLAL) League

    3 Jan 2022 - 2 Mar 2023

    Teams will have one to two practices a week depending on age and will play games across the array of familiar fields around the west side of Los Angeles, including, Mar Vista, Santa Monica HS, Airport Park and Belmar Field.

    Our K/1 Boys and Girls will keep it in house and play 6s games within the palisades during their practice.

2023 Summer Lacrosse Season

  • Speed Lacrosse (3rd Grade - 8th Grade)

    Speed lacrosse will be played 3v3 or 4v4 on a 40 x 20 yard court on sand. Goggle/Helmet, a standard lacrosse stick and mouthguard are required. The emphasis is on finesse over physicality. It is a great for ALL ages and really improves endurance and stick skills.

    Girls 3rd Grade-5th Grade Team

    Speed Lacrosse: Saturday Early Mornings (Time TBD)@ Annenberg Community Beach House/Will Rogers Beach

  • YMCA Fall Lacrosse (Kinder & 2nd Grade)

    Girls Kinder/1st Grade Team

    Our girls will be practicing at Simon Meadow and scrimmaging on Mondays. The goal of this is to introduce lacrosse to our youth and get them ready to play other teams around LA in the future. The practices will focus on the basics of lacrosse and the scrimmages will give them the experience required to play in league games in the future.
